Aug 28 - Prayer Flags and Plants

This is the scene that should greet us as we return home on Saturday.  A picture which I've often dreamt about these past 11 weeks.  Home...

Darren and Erinn hung the prayer flags after Seth's accident.  We got these flags in Nepal when we ventured there in November of last year.  These flags carried the prayers, thoughts and good vibes you all sent from across the world as they gently waved in the wind.

We felt this power and Seth's healing is proof that with love, hope and determination, anything is possible.

Thank you all for being there during this leg of our journey and helping me guard the  flame of hope.

I will be posting a couple more times.  On Monday evening to tell of our journey back.  And again on Thursday of next week.  I've been writing a poem that I want to share with you all which I will post on Thursday.  And that will be my last post.  Seth's Christmas letter will pick up the story from there!

I can't imagine the joy and serenity that will come over the two of you when you pull up to your home and get welcomed by Kitty (and the whole neighborhood.

I will miss the blog updates but I'm sure you are prepared for the phone calls to roll in ...LOL ...but sincerely want to say that this blog was a life-saver for me as a way to keep involved and check up on Seth.
Jody, I think it was so great of you to take care of "all of us" who couldn't be there as well as you took care of Seth in spite of the stress and pain that you yourself were handling.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You,
Monique
